Black Friday, the biggest shopping day in the U.S. is right around the corner!  This Friday, November 27th all bargain hunters will be out shopping beginning at midnight and hopefully finishing sometime before 10 p.m. on Friday!  Black Friday is only for those who are brave enough to skip some sleep and fight the crowds to save those extra dollars.  As far as Pigeon Forge shopping goes, they will be on the same schedule!  The Belz and Tanger outlets will be opening at midnight and staying open throughout the day until 9 and 10 p.m. Friday night. I wouldn’t count on all Pigeon Forge stores being open all night, but at least the night owls can get a jump start on their outlet deals throughout the night.

Pigeon Forge is your perfect holiday destination! There is something for the whole family to enjoy and what better way to get in the Christmas spirit than being fully surrounded by Christmas? Throughout this winter season all of Sevier County will be participating in Winterfest, where millions of Christmas lights line the streets. You can even take a nighttime trolley ride to get the full experience. Also there is a new attraction, one of America’s largest drive through fully computerized LED light shows! It is located in the Smokies Stadium parking lot and takes about 20-30 minutes to drive thru. Along with all the lights, there are also many fun events you can attend.  There are parades, Holiday Arts and Craft Shows, Sing-a-longs with Santa, Christmas Festivals, and so much more!

We are so happy to have all these fun Christmas activities in our backyard and love to share them with others! If you love Pigeon Forge at Christmas time please come visit and celebrate the Holidays with us!

In Retirement Lifestyles Magazine’s upcoming issue Sevier County is named one of the Top 11 places for retirees. They highlight the stable economy, variety of activities, moderate cost of living and the beautiful location as wonderful attributes for those looking for a nice place to retire.  Not to mention that almost everyone who visits, falls in love with the area and the beautiful Smoky Mountains

We, of course couldn’t agree more! There are plenty of fun activities in the Sevier County area to keep retirees busy and it’s also a great vacation spot for when the families want to visit. Kids and grandkids will love everything that Sevier County and theSmoky Mountains have to offer.  We think Retirement Lifestyles hit the nail on the head with this one!
