The weekend forecast called for snow, a lot of snow! The weekend was very cold and a little snowy but we didn’t see significant snow accumulation until late last night/early this morning. The Sevier County area received up to 6 inches on snow in the lower elevations. In Gatlinburg and the higher elevations there could be up to 10 inches of snow!
If you’re in the area, be very careful driving in these conditions! It looks like there will be snow flurries throughout the day, into Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. These may not be driving conditions but they are perfect for snowball fights, sledding and snowman building! If you’re in theSmokies be sure to get out there and have some fun in the snow!
