The Nantahala Outdoor Center is opening a retail shop from The North Face brand, located inside NOC’s retail store in Gatlinburg, Saturday, Oct. 22. They are hosting a free event for the opening that is open to the public. The specialty shop designed and merchandised by The North Face will showcase products from The North Face’s full line. Featuring gear, footwear, outerwear and apparel for hiking, camping, running, snow sports and casual, customers will be able to shop unique and top-selling items from the popular brand. The grand opening event will host several great events including great giveaways, refreshments and product demonstrations.
Activities include great door prizes where you can enter to win a Denali fleece Jacket from The North Face, a $100 NOC gift card and more. There will also be great giveaways and product demonstrations, the giveaways will be from NOC and The North Face and you can learn about new 2011 products from The North Face’s technical rep. DJs from The Mixx 105.5 morning show will be live in-store from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. You can relax by the fireplace while enjoying beverages and sample meals and snacks from camp cooking experts. There will also be a mountaineering photo booth where you can have your picture taken on Mount Everest without leaving Tennessee.
