Memories Theater has been through
a lot of changes over the past couple of years. From closing, to moving and currently moving again, the theater has been through it all and is planning to come back better than ever!
After Titanic owner
John Josyln announced that he was purchasing Memories, Kickin' Country and Magic Beyond Belief to make way for a new Water Magic attraction many Memories fans were extremely sad to hear that the show may come to an end. Memories owner, Dee Gallon, decided to move the theater to a new home on Showplace boulevard right next to the Country Tonite Theatre. After the late 2010 move Gallon isn't as happy with attendance to the show and is re-thinking her move away from the highly popular Parkway lot. After much consideration Gallon and Joslyn have come to an agreement for Memories Theater to move home! Joslyn still plans to open the new attraction but is re-working his current plans.
This isn't going to be an easy move for the Memories crew and Gallon since the old building has been awaiting the wrecking ball for a year and half. A
lot of work needs to be done to the building and a lot of time will be needed to be put into the building to bring it up to the theater it once was. Gallon is taking the task to heart and we know the new theater will be great! We're excited that Memories Theater will be moving home and know they will be successful in their old stomping (or singing) grounds.
