This week at Wonderworks it’s Homeschool week! One homeschool teacher and 1 guest will get in free to Wonderworks now through Sunday, September 18!  Teachers can also get up to 4 additional guests in for a discounted price of $10.  These are limited to one discount per family and homeschool teachers must accompany their guests & provide an umbrella letter, association membership card or letter from local school board. 

You can also stay for the “Wonders of Magic” Show! Show admission is only $9.99 + tax.  The daily showtimes are 5:30 pm and 8:00 pm with no Sunday shows.  You can call 865-868-1800 for reservations. 

Closed toe shoes are required for the ropes course.

Pi Beta Phi Elementary is hosting the 2nd annual 5K run/walk to benefit the elementary school on September 24.  Each participant will receive a tshirt and goody bag for the race and all registered children who complete the race will receive a medal at the finish line.  Registration will begin at 7 am and the race will begin at 8 am. 

The course will start at the school, you will run Hwy 321, turn left onto Mills Park Road, right onto Ogle road, turn around, run Mills Park Road and the partial loop around the track to the finish line.   There will be one water station half way through the course and there will be refreshments after the race for all participants.

The Grand Fall Rod Run is an event that all car lovers and fans of classic cars look forward to each year, and this year is no different.  All of Pigeon Forge is gearing up for a fun weekend of classic cars and friendly faces all along the parkway September 15 – 19, 2011.  There will be classic cars lining the parkway almost all week with those excited to show off their treasures.  Starting on Wednesday, September 15 the street vendors will start lining up and you will see plenty of spectators in their lawn chairs ready to check out the cars and make new friends.
