Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountain Winterfest Events Calendar

There’s always something to do in Pigeon Forge! Winterfest events start in November and end when spring blossoms in March! From special holiday celebrations to other memorable Smoky Mountain events, the Pigeon Forge Winterfest events calendar is jam-packed with fun for the entire family. Pigeon Forge has a great season lined up, with everything from festivals, parades, concerts, tours and more!

November Events

Smoky Mountain Gift Show -For nearly 50 years, the Smoky Mountain Gift Show has been the most beloved show for the souvenir, resort and gift industry. Held at the Gtalinburg Convention Center.

Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland - Located at Smokies Stadium in Kodak, TN. Shadrack's Watersports and RV presents their award winning largest drive-through synchronized lights and music display. Enjoy this display from the warmth and comfort of your own car. In addition, enjoy Santa's Village, which includes a petting zoo with pony and camel rides, photos with Santas and lots of goodies to eat. The fun continues with Santa's train, an inflatable slide, a trampoline bungee jump and a ferris wheel. For information, including pricing, call (423) 652-0120.

Creekside Gospel Music Convention + Scoops Diamond Awards - SGNScoops Magazine holds the Scoops Diamond Awards event at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, TN. Join us for this gathering of some of the top names in gospel music. The Scoops Diamond Awards are given as a result of fan voting. This will be an incredible evening of good Southern Gospel Music, as well as an exciting night when you see and hear your favorite artist receive a coveted SGN Scoops’ Diamond Award. Mark this date in your calendar and be sure to join us!

Con Hunley and Jimmy Fortune - 8:00 pm at Country Tonite Theatre. Con Hunley has had over 20 hits on the country charts. With hits like “Oh Girl”, “What’s New With You”, “You Lay a Whole Lot of Love on Me”, and “Week-End Friend”, Con Hunley is sure to be an amazing show. We are thrilled to welcome back to our stage one of East Tennessee’s favorite sons.Jimmy Fortune toured, sang and performed with the legendary Statler Brothers for 21 years. Jimmy and The Statler Brothers were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2007, and were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. Salute to Veterans Parade - Come to the Annual Salute to Veterans which begins with a parade down the main parkway in Pigeon Forge and concludes at Patriot Park, leading into the Winterfest kick-off ceremony. 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Winterfest Kick-off - Join us at Patriot Park for Annual Winterfest kick-off after the conclusion of the 4th Annual Salute to Veterans Parade! Festivities for Winterfest begin at 5:00 pm and include: Kids' Play Area, Food Vendors, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, & Musical Entertainment.

Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights - See five million shining lights while you're on a Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights. The heated, enclosed trolley comes complete with a personal tour guide who will share stories about Pigeon Forge's history and famous Winterfest displays.Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights begins and ends at Patriot Park. Tickets can be purchased the day of the tour and reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. With many dates to choose from be sure to make your plans now to experience a Smoky Mountain winter in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Please note that the Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights will be running Monday-Friday only, three times a night in November and December at 6:30 PM, 7:45 PM and 9:00 PM. In January the tours are only on Mondays and Fridays and there must be a minimum of 15 passengers for a tour to depart. Pricing- $5.00 per person. Winter Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff- Offering mouth-watering recipes of homemade chili ranging from mild and delightful to wild and adventurous, the City of Gatlinburg hosts its annual Winter Magic Kickoff and Chili Cookoff from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in downtown.

Gatlinburg's Festival of Trees - Located at the W.L. Mills Conference Center in Gatlinburg, TN. A beautiful wonderland of Christmas trees awaits visitors and locals alike at the Gatlinburg Festival of Trees. See dozens of spectacularly decorated Christmas trees, many of which are available for sale. See a selection of holiday decor for purchase + add to your find a perfect gift! Proceeds from the event benefit Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Mission.

Fireworks on Thanksgiving at the Titanic - The Titanic Museum Attraction will be hosting the LARGEST fireworks event of the year on the Parkway, Thanksgiving night! This annual event is to honor the lives and legacies of the ship’s passengers, crew and rescuers.

Titanic's Holiday Snow Wonderland - This holiday season you'll find snow in Pigeon Forge again! As part of the Titanic Museum’s “Christmas in a Winter Wonderland,” which is dedicated to the lives of the 2,208 passengers and crew of the Titanic, there will be snow. Starting on Thanksgiving evening and every Saturday in December, you'll be able to experience falling snow from right off the bow of the ship. Plus the interior of the ship will be lit with Christmas lights and decorations.
