Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountain Winterfest Events Calendar

There’s always something to do in Pigeon Forge! Winterfest events start in November and end when spring blossoms in March! From special holiday celebrations to other memorable Smoky Mountain events, the Pigeon Forge Winterfest events calendar is jam-packed with fun for the entire family. Pigeon Forge has a great season lined up, with everything from festivals, parades, concerts, tours and more!

November Events

Smoky Mountain Gift Show -For nearly 50 years, the Smoky Mountain Gift Show has been the most beloved show for the souvenir, resort and gift industry. Held at the Gtalinburg Convention Center.

Con Hunley and Jimmy Fortune - 8:00 pm at Country Tonite Theatre. Con Hunley has had over 20 hits on the country charts. With hits like “Oh Girl”, “What’s New With You”, “You Lay a Whole Lot of Love on Me”, and “Week-End Friend”, Con Hunley is sure to be an amazing show. We are thrilled to welcome back to our stage one of East Tennessee’s favorite sons.Jimmy Fortune toured, sang and performed with the legendary Statler Brothers for 21 years. Jimmy and The Statler Brothers were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2007, and were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. Winterfest Kick-off - Join us at Patriot Park for Annual Winterfest kick-off after the conclusion of the 4th Annual Salute to Veterans Parade! Festivities for Winterfest begin at 5:00 pm and include: Kids' Play Area, Food Vendors, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, & Musical Entertainment.

Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights - See five million shining lights while you're on a Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights. The heated, enclosed trolley comes complete with a personal tour guide who will share stories about Pigeon Forge's history and famous Winterfest displays.Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights begins and ends at Patriot Park. Tickets can be purchased the day of the tour and reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. With many dates to choose from be sure to make your plans now to experience a Smoky Mountain winter in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Please note that the Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights will be running Monday-Friday only, three times a night in November and December at 6:30 PM, 7:45 PM and 9:00 PM. In January the tours are only on Mondays and Fridays and there must be a minimum of 15 passengers for a tour to depart. Pricing- $5.00 per person. Salute to Veterans Parade - Come to the Annual Salute to Veterans Parade! The parade will begin at 4:30 pm and wrap up around 5:00 pm at Patriot Park, leading into the Winterfest kick-off.

Veterans Day Celebration- Join Gatlinburg in saluting America's veterans of the Armed Forces, featuring stirring musical numbers and words of tribute on Ripley's Aquarium Plaza.

Winter Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff- Offering mouth-watering recipes of homemade chili ranging from mild and delightful to wild and adventurous, the City of Gatlinburg hosts its annual Winter Magic Kickoff and Chili Cookoff from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in downtown.

Fireworks on Thanksgiving at the Titanic - The Titanic Museum Attraction will be hosting the LARGEST fireworks event of the year on the Parkway, Thanksgiving night! This annual event is to honor the lives and legacies of the ship’s passengers, crew and rescuers.

Titanic's Holiday Snow Wonderland - This holiday season you'll find snow in Pigeon Forge again! As part of the Titanic Museum’s “Christmas in a Winter Wonderland,” which is dedicated to the lives of the 2,208 passengers and crew of the Titanic, there will be snow. Starting on Thanksgiving evening and every Saturday in December, you'll be able to experience falling snow from right off the bow of the ship. Plus the interior of the ship will be lit with Christmas lights and decorations.

Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade - The City of Gatlinburg invites you to bundle up and generate a spirited dose of holiday cheer and soak up Gatlinburg’s annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade at 7:30 pm.

Breakfast or Brunch with Santa - Make a lasting memory for your children and the whole family by enjoying a delicious brunch with Santa Claus himself at the Old Mill Square.

Ronnie Milsap - 8:00 pm at Country Tonite Theatre. 40 Number 1 hits, seven Grammy Awards and eight Country Music Association Awards. Together, they underscore Milsap’s position as one of the best-loved and most enduring artists in country music history. Some of Ronnie’s classics include “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It For the World”, “It Was Almost Like A Song”, “Lost In The Fifties Tonight”, and “Smoky Mountain Rain”. New Year's Eve Ball Drop and Fireworks Show - Gatlinburg will welcome the arrival of 2015 in unique style with its 27th Annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop and Fireworks Show around the intersection of Parkway and Historic Nature Trail at the base of the Space Needle late Wednesday night, December 31.
