New this year, the Christmas festival, located in front of the new Smoky Mountain Opry will feature a huge outdoor ice skating rink, christmas lights and music, big ferris wheel, carousel, and many other rides the entire family can enjoy. Santa Claus, live reindeer, an outdoor synchronized Christmas Light Show and a choreographed indoor Laser Light Show, food vendors, an Arts and Crafts Christmas Village, horse drawn carriage rides, Santa train rides, and S’mores Pit all complete the new “ChristmasFest at the Opry” scheduled to run through Dec. 31.
December 2 | Gatlinburg's 36th Annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade - This popular Christmas parade in downtown Gatlinburg is recognized as one of the very best by the International Festival and Events Association AND designated by Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 event.
